Geographical coverage
Before defining the programme area, please download the latest updated version of NUTS data provided by Eurostat.
Once the NUTS file is downloaded, the programme regions can be selected and deselected from the left side of the NUTS explorer. NUTS regions can be selected at NUTS 0, NUTS 1, NUTS 2 and NUTS 3 level. All lower NUTS levels are always automatically encompassed in the selection. For countries without NUTS regions, only the whole country can be selected and is treated similar to NUTS 0 level.
The selected programme regions are displayed on the right side of the NUTS explorer.
The current NUTS database can be found at https://gisco-services.ec.europa.eu/distribution/v2/nuts/datasets.json
