The currency rate bug was fixed in V8.0.5 - This new version are simply small improvements around the detection of currency rate issues during the start of Jems (via notifications dashboard) :

Prior notifications now stay in Dashboard and every startup will create a new notification

The new notifications now list also every report where the amounts still deviate (even if conversion rate is already fixed)

Messages in Dashboard are neutral instead of red
