Co-financing

The co-financing rate of a partner shall be defined in this section. The basis for the co-financing is the partner total eligible budget.

SPF: For applications for Small project funds, this section is called “Co-financing Management”, and it refers only to the Management part of the budget. An additional section “Co-financing SPF” allows to enter co-financing details for the Small project funds part of the budget.

If this section is filled in and the budget is updated, this section should also be updated. If not, a yellow warning message appears as shown in the screenshot below.

The Co-financing section consists of two tables:

  • Co-financing

  • Origin of partner contribution

Co-financing

In this section, the funds selected by the programme user in the call can be selected through a dropdown list and the applicant can fill in a co-financing rate by adding the percentage related to this fund.

If the multiple funds option is ticked in the call setup, the + button is available and the applicant can add additional funds (up to 4, depending on the number of funds selected in the call setup) to the partner organisation and also fill in the percentage for these funds.

The rest of the table is automatically calculated, being the remaining budget and percentage of the Partner contribution.

Origin of partner contribution

In this section, the applicant should define where their own and external funding comes from.

This table uses the total of partner contribution as total.

  • The first row is always the partner's own contribution (the partner name is prefilled).

The legal status of contribution can only be Public or Private for the first row.

SPF: The first row applies for Co-financing Management section, but not for Co-financing SPF section.

  • By clicking the +add new contribution origin the applicant user can add new sources of contribution.

  • For the other rows added, the applicant should define the legal status of the contribution which can be either “public”, “automatic public” or “private”, and assign the amount. The percentages are automatically calculated and also the subtotals and total partner contribution is automatically calculated.

Rounding

The funding amounts are always rounded down. The difference between the total eligible budget and the funding amounts is allocated to partner contributions. Therefore, the total partner contribution is basically rounded up.
