Migration to V5

Application form field “Type of partner” in Partner identification / Legal and financial information (section B.1.1): the item “General public” was removed from the dropdown list and is no longer available for selection. No data migration is provided. Any occurence of “General public” will be replaced by an empty value in the database. This change can affect project applications in any status, also submitted, approved or contracted projects. The data have to be manually corrected by selecting a different item from the dropdown list. Depending on the status of the project application, this will require a project modification.
Forgotten password: New template file (/resources) must be uploaded to MinIO E-mail templates
API /api/project: The API list call for the projects changed to enable filtered queries: In case other services are using the prior GET /api/project/ endpoint, they need to be adapted to continue working.

- Note: This does not affect Jems, but in case you have some external service that connects to Jems (e.g. Your programme website shows approved projects directly from Jems).
Accessibility statement: After a review of Jems accessibility, the template for the accessibility statement has been revised. Programmes need to update the statement. Statement and instructions can be found here: Accessibility Statement.
Jems startup parameters: Dependencies and Spring Boot Gradle Plugin has been upgraded from 2.4.4 to 2.6.7 which led indirectly to a parameter for info variables to be disabled by default. To enable those again (to see helpdesk and accessibility statements and URLs), the following additional JEMS startup parameters should be set: management.info.env.enabled=true (see Installation instructions)
Elastic search re-indexation: Upon installation of Jems v5, Elastic search database will automatically be re-indexed, in oder to make improvements of audit log filtering effective. Depending on the amount of audit log entries in the system, this process may take a few minutes time at the next Jems server start.
